MORE ON BUILDING EVELOPES
Building Envelop is a term used to refer to the outermost part of a structure. These parts are the walls, roof and foundation, which enclose all other building components such as mechanical piping systems. In short, they make up what is considered as the “shell” of any building or structure.
Building envelops for residential properties can either be made out of wood, steel or concrete. The materials with which these are made often depend on the surrounding environment where it is built; whether it is located in plains or mountains; whether natural disasters occur; etc. However, no material is ever impervious to damage. Building envelops need special care and maintenance, and they have to be set up in such a way that they wouldn’t easily deteriorate and collapse even during adverse weather and natural calamities.
A tight building envelop needs to be strong enough to hold its own weight, as well as the weights of all components that it encloses. It also has to be durable, resilient and stable enough to withstand sudden changes in temperature and humidity. Building envelopes must also not only last long but should also appear aesthetically-pleasing.
Super Structures can establish and set up building envelops for residential homes, commercial buildings and other structures.
Our ability to create the most durable building envelops is founded on our expertise in commercial high-rise buildings, industrial facilities, storage areas, and auto shops. We also take into account both local and international standards while going through each project’s design process to ensure quality envelopes that meet specifications while remaining within budget.
