The Shannon Airport project was completed in Fredericksburg, Virginia for owner Lite-Center. Varco Pruden is listed as the building manufacturer, and the structure was built for a museum that houses historical planes.
The building included 11,780 sq. ft. of hangar space and a 29 ft. x 95 ft. bottom rolling hangar door. The roof was built as a screw-down roof with insulation and included red and white trim.
The project also included a 980 sq. ft. office area with a waiting room and one office. Together, the hangar and office areas supported both aircraft display needs and basic administrative or visitor functions.
