The GreenWell Growers project was completed in Richmond, Virginia, with Love of Construction Company listed as the contractor. The building size was 78,000 sq. ft., and the project included a 12-inch x 48-inch girder.
Super Structures’ scope of work included erecting the building and installing anchor bolts into the concrete slab. The building included automatic transom components at the top, exterior walls with 26-gauge agricultural panels, and an interior gutter system carrying 40 ft. Parigot on the end walls.
The steel system used 4-inch galvanized tube, with the connection zone made up with Tek screws. The building was identified as a prototype structure, and the project included engineering improvements from Super Structures to improve the system.
